Zidane went back to Gaia later that evening. Drake had managed to get permission to go hunting for a few days by convincing Ellipsis that he would make his life hell if he wasn’t able to go, and Eclipse that he could get so much more done if he didn’t have to worry about what Drake was up to. Thus, Zidane was bringing him to Terra so they could practice while they had the chance.

“You’re sure he won’t notice you’re not in Daguerreo?”

“Eclipse? I rarely stay in Daguerreo when I’m hunting, so I can’t see it mattering much if he does.”

“He won’t know you’re on Terra?”

“Hasn’t before, so why should he now?” Drake yawned.

“Tired again?”

“I don’t sleep much. Monkeys keep bothering me.”

Zidane ignored the comment. “What were you zoning out about anyway?”

“What?”

“The other day and…actually, it’s happened frequently. It’s like you go off into your own world.”

I sure do hope it’s not my world. Why are you bothering me about this? It’s not like it concerns you or your princess. “Must have been tired.”

“But yesterday, in the Jet... I was shouting at you and you didn’t move.”

“I was tired.”

Zidane shook his head. Drake was always difficult to get answers from, he was naturally taciturn to personal questions, and this time was no different, of course. Still, Zidane didn’t let important issues go. He’d push and dig and anything it took to get the information he needed to get. “You’ve stayed on Terra plenty of times, Drake. You wake up if someone even walks past the room you’re in, but you can sleep through me screaming in your face?”

“Zidane. I am used to loud, annoying, obnoxious creatures screaming at me while I am trying to sleep. I have to stay with Pricilla frequently.”

“And the birds.”

“My raptors don’t bother me. People bother me. People like you.”

“So your story is that you were asleep? With your eyes pinched shut that tight? Even though when I asked you if you were asleep at the time you said no?” Zidane just wasn’t one to accept such apparent lies and move on, unfortunately for Drake.

“Yes.”

The Angel didn’t believe that for a moment. Still, he knew blatantly stating he knew it was a lie would only get Drake to clam up. “Why? What were you dreaming about?”

“Dreaming?”

“Your eyes moved a lot, and you held them shut tight. I haven’t seen anyone do that who wasn’t having one hell of a nightmare.”

A nightmare. What a joke, really. Drake didn’t have nightmares; he had memories and hallucinations instead. Nightmare seemed to imply there was something dream-esque about the visions. Mysteries your mind created based on your thoughts, fears, etc. or even a simple summary of your day brought forward in an usual setting. “Do you frequently watch people while they sleep?” Drake asked.

“Not unless they’re doing something weird. Like not waking up while being screamed at. Unless they’re drunk… I just want to know what’s going on.”

Drake took a deep breath, “Why?”

“Because if it has something to do with The Secrets of Terra, I need to know about it”

Ah… perhaps the monkey isn’t as stupid as I thought. That was something to consider. Something that Drake now could not get out of his mind. He got darkness powers, and he had already been hearing voices from Hell for some time now.

“… I don’t know.” Drake admitted, “It wasn’t exactly a new occurrence. Maybe I was just tired; I didn’t have my guards up.”

“Guards up?”

“Mental guards. Prevents people from being able to control me, mentally, and blocks my thoughts.”

Zidane looked over at him. “… Why do you need them?”

“Poor, naïve little monkey. The world is full of dangers and your mind is more than vulnerable enough to be obtained by anyone who wants it badly enough.”

“I thought the Genomes were immune to that stuff?”

“You have a great natural resistance, I’ll admit, but that won’t stop a true master like Eclipse. My Persuasion abilities primarily are used to scare people, but even I can make them do some small things if they have no mental guards, just imagine what Eclipse can do.”

Zidane shook his head, looking back at the sky. “I can’t imagine how exhausting it must be to keep that up all the time…”

“Try. You’ll have to do it, too. If Eclipse finds out what we’re up to, we won’t even have the time to run.”

Kuja was waiting when they landed on Terra. “Mikoto wants you, brother.”

“Why? What did you do?”

“Hmm… … … It’s no good. I can’t remember.”

Zidane groaned and jumped down, running to find his sister.

Drake climbed down, bringing his bag with him. He was focusing enough on one of the straps, which had become tangled, that he nearly missed the attack being fired at him.

Drake leapt to the side, missing the Thundaga attack by luck and practice alone. He shot Kuja a cruel glare, warning against another attack…, which occurred anyway and Drake had to drop and roll to escape the second Thundaga. “Ce s-a întâmplat—? What the hell!?”

Kuja gave a bit of a shrug. “I’m trying something... I want to see if it’s still possible.”

Drake was confused for only a moment before he realized he didn’t care, then he attacked. He had retrieved his Legacy Whip from his bag and had lashed out before even a second has passed, Kuja wasn’t able to dodge and the man was lucky Drake was going for HP rather than blood.

Kuja fired another Thundaga and Drake fired back with Negru Flacără. Once Kuja was enveloped by the black fire, Drake lunged forward, dashing around in the darkness and slicing with his talons until the flames disappeared. Kuja handled it well. Most people freaked out when the black fire killed all the light, but Kuja remained calm. Patiently waiting to see what happened and not moving an inch to chance setting off a trap. So many attacks at once… not something he’d seen before, outside of a trance. It wasn’t good enough, though.

“… Really?” Kuja asked. “That was all?”

Drake looked confused and a little mad.

Kuja laughed it off. “You’re supposed to be so strong? Show me!”

The Dark Prince vanished. Anyone without the experience Kuja had would have assumed the boy really had somehow disappeared, but he saw the blur of movement and leapt up in time to avoid Drake’s talons.

“Too slow! Didn’t that maniac teach you better than this?”

“Taci din gură, fruct laţ!”

“Dear, dear,” Kuja made a disapproving clucking noise as he landed a few feet away. “We must do something about your language skills, they’re atrocious. Can’t understand a word you’re saying.”

Drake wasn’t very pleased with that comment and Kuja took the moment to attack while the Prince was preoccupied by trying to figure out the proper retort to such an insult. The Thundaga spell was Kuja’s favorite. Swift, effective, and even if he missed the target directly, the electricity would weave through the ground until it found something conductive to latch onto.

“Tic-ticălos.” Drake coughed, recovering from the unexpected blast.

“Do bet-ter!” Kuja sang, landing behind Drake and quickly having to jump again to dodge the many slashes the boy was attempting with his devilish little claws.

He was fast, Kuja had to hand him that. The silver haired man was having difficulties in escaping such vicious attacks.

My, my, my… what to do? Kuja wondered as he repeatedly dodged the boy’s swift attacks, all the while throwing out purple orbs of electricity in return. Flare Star would do wonders against anyone else, but this one’s immune to fire in such a way it’s hard to tell what Flare Star would be able to do… Even Thundaga’s burn is only doing half the damage it should. Kuja was strong enough to avoid most of the possibly devastating attacks. He was also just strong enough to greatly irritate the young prince. Kuja had a new spell, one he had been working on and practicing since first gaining it in Trance so many months ago. It was instinctive, much like Float was. You knew how to work with it even the first time, except this version of Float allowed him to go higher and move much faster. It was as close to flying as you could get without wings, and he gradually started using it; gaining a few inches of air every time he jumped back to dodge Drake’s attack.

“Ah,” Kuja laughed. “It seems you have this talent, too!”

Drake was confused before his eyes flickered down. He hadn’t even realized he was on one of the ledges and tracks in the sky. He usually had some difficulty finding the first one unless he focused on the task, but it seemed he was on autopilot for this one. The Dark Prince wasn’t pleased with being tricked into giving away one of his abilities like this, but Kuja seemed almost giddy. Laughing while he fired off spells. Maniac.

“Can’t you go faster?” Kuja shook his head, laughing. He then rolled to the side, just barely avoiding a blast of fire as it flew at him. “Relax, vampire! I was just asking!”

“Shut up!”

“You cannot talk and fight at the same time? Given how your life is going I assumed you’d be a master multi-tasker, and by rumors of your talent I thought you would be one to consider battle a way to disport!”

Drake shot out another ball of fire and then rushed forward, hoping to speed up and actually hit the man. He snarled as the attack missed.

“You have to do better!”

This excessive badgering while he was fighting was annoying. He’d taunt while he was fighting, yes, but it was… greatly irritating to be on the other side of it. He stopped, sliding across one of the hidden air ledges and hissed at the man. Why was he bothering with this? He didn’t need to play this stupid game; he had other things to be doing that were of greater importance. Drake turned away, dropping down to the ground and walking back toward the jet.

Kuja watched him for a moment. Stubborn, that one… Hehe, we’ll have to influence him to play…

Drake was cursing life itself as he walked to the jet. Wondering why he got himself into this mess. It would be simpler to try and drug Eclipse and Ellipsis again… wait for them to fall asleep, sneak into the devil’s room and end it all with one brash swipe of his sword. His heart was probably a small target, though. Better to aim for the lungs and let the monster drown in his own blood.

… If only that would work. Maybe he should try it. It was a possibility, wasn’t it? He drugged them once and they still didn’t know about it, why not try again? … Ah, he knew why. This was different. That time he was simply trying to get out, sneaking into Eclipses room would be a different matter. No matter how stealthy he was, Drake rarely ever managed even to get out of the tower without Eclipse knowing, no matter what hour or how long the man had been asleep. If he were caught, it would also be much harder to explain why than a trip to Alexandria would be.

Regardless, it would be easie—! Drake almost tripped when the ice crystals wrapped around his legs. Coincidently, their swift arrival and grasp was all that kept him from falling. In a breath, they shot up around him, encasing him in a prison of ice. It stung and it burned, and he couldn’t even move! Until, without any notice, it shattered! Exploding and sending shards of ice shrapnel everywhere.

Drake stood there, stunned, for a moment before he wheeled around and shot a death glare in Kuja’s direction.

“Oopsie me!” Kuja grinned.

He then found himself sailing through the air until he finally hit a tree. “…Took offense to that one, I see…” He coughed as the fire wave disappeared.

Drake was so angry he was actually shaking. It was out of his control now, his instincts had taken over and they screamed make him pay! He’d fired off his Preistoric Incediu spell without conscious thought and then bolted into the air again, charging forward and ready to strike. Kuja knew all sorts of magick… Thundaga and the Flare types were simply his favorite for combat, but he had a vast knowledge on magick. He knew how to use Blizzaga, for instance. He also knew firing it would be a catalyst. That was what he wanted, though. He wanted to know what would get the Dark Prince to attack. What would it take for him to snap and break? There was no better way to tell what side someone really was on than to force them to lose control. He wanted Drake to attack. He wanted to see what the boy could do. What was all the commotion about for this young prince? From such a tiny little island that was more intellectual based than battle ready… unless the child was a mage, Kuja didn’t see how he could possibly be that fierce… But he was. This was the proof. He was an Elemental… many Elementals had gone the Mage route in training, so there had always been that wonder if this one had, too. No… the boy knew magick, but his true strength was his physical power.
He needed this fight. Kuja needed to see why Zidane listened to him; he needed to see why he was involved. He needed to know why this… child… this Gaian child was worthy of the Secrets of Terra! Because that wasn’t fair. When it could have been him…

Kuja charged another Blizzaga and fired it.

Zidane walked through the palace, checking each room to see if Mikoto was there. “Hey, you needed me?” Zidane asked, walking over to Mikoto.

The girl looked confused. “Did I?”

“…Kuja said—.” Zidane’s eyes widened as he heard the blast behind him. He didn’t need to see the explosion… he could hear it, he could feel it, and his brain was busy calling him names for having actually left those two alone in the same area.

“What was that?” Mikoto asked.

“That was a baaaad idea…” Zidane informed, then turned and ran toward the area.

Drake shivered from the blast, feeling his energy drain. Then he pulled his arm back before lashing it forward as if he were throwing a spear. “Preistoric Incendiu!”

Kuja grit his teeth as the fire speared him, and he was actually thankful when his brain registered a drop in his HP. At least it hadn’t been for blood. He quickly had to dodge another fireball, but was soon hit with another that proved ineluctable. The Dark Prince was moving much faster now! Apparently all the ice ticked him off…

We’ll… probably need to work on that. Kuja decided, turning again to try and dodge attack after attack that were starting to prove nearly impossible to avoid. Fire, talons and oh-so-much anger and so easy to make him lose control. That was… interesting. Perhaps not very good, but then again he had been asking for it and he did need this response. It had to be a true battle! It had to be real or it simply would not work.

“Is this the best you’ve got?” Kuja taunted, sliding to a stop.

“KUJA!” Zidane shouted once he saw them. Mikoto ran behind him, fighting to try and keep up.

“I really don’t think you want to see the best I’ve got.” Drake growled, warningly as he stalked closer. Like a cat who was sure it had its prey.

“Ah! So he does speak!” Kuja applauded.

“Hey!” Zidane yelled, running over. “Knock it off!!”

Drake looked down at Zidane, rather annoyed at being shouted at for something he hadn’t started in the first place… how was that fair?

“He attacked me!”

“He does that!” Zidane insisted; having to shout in order to be sure they would hear him from the height they were at.

“But—!” Drake’s complaint was interrupted as Blizzaga wrapped around him once more. He quickly felt the crushing weight of all that ice and lost his ability to stay airborne.

Zidane’s jaw dropped as the now frozen prince dropped from the sky. He couldn’t believe Kuja had done that!

“I imagine that hurts.” Mikoto calmly put in, watching.

Kuja just laughed as the ice hit the ground and shattered. “You should learn to pay more attention!”

“KUJA!” Zidane gaped. “Stop making it worse!”

“Or what, Dear Brother?” Kuja smirked, then his head whipped to look at the fallen prince who was now glowing red.

Drake’s fangs grew and his fire erupted around his body like an aura of flame. He got up quickly, angrily, and pulled his hand back, readying his attack as a ball of multi-colored fire formed in his hand. “De. . .”

“DRAKE!” Zidane screamed. “DON’T!”

“Bază Flacără!!” The Dark Prince summoned, throwing his arm forward and releasing a beam of fire, rivaling Bahamuts Mega Flare attack.

Kuja had no chance of dodging. He saw it, knew it, and just… cringed while he waited for the blast, which enveloped him in a fire tornado; as if the beam alone weren’t enough! He counted his HP going down at such a rapid rate; it was hard to keep up with the numbers as they dropped. There was an intense burning even Fira didn’t cause, it was indescribably real which shouldn’t happen in an HP battle and caused a tingling of fear to vibrate through his spine. A feeling of desperation and panic coursed through him, and that was all it took.

Drake wanted to attack again, but he was stuck waiting for this attack to finish! Zidane ran over and got in front of him, blocking any attack he would try with the fire still burning anyway. After quick warning glares at each other, stating their displeasure and annoyance, they watched as the fire tornado ran its course and then burned itself out. The sight that remained after the fire died out surprised them both.

“Kuja…” Zidane said, staring. “You can still Trance!?”

Kuja looked himself over. “Ah, so I was right.”

“…Wait…” Zidane made a face of suspicion and wonder, turning his head to one side and staring at the man out of the corner of his eye, something he likely picked up from Drake. “… You started a fight so you could see if you could trance?”

“Congratulations, Dear Brother, you figured that out much quicker than I thought you might! Bravo!”

“Kuja, that’s not good!” Zidane insisted, shaking his head. As Kuja landed Zidane made sure he stayed between the man and Drake… just in case.

“Well how else was I supposed to see, hm?” Mikoto backed up a bit. It was out of her nature to show such fear, but she couldn’t block out the memory of what occurred the last time Kuja Tranced.

Zidane seemed to pick up on that. “You shouldn’t have done it this way! You should have told me and gone further from the village!”

“Why is that?”

“Because the last time you Tranced, you went psycho crazy and started blowing up buildings!” Zidane reminded.

Drake was rather confused by that.

“Oh, come off it! That was Garland’s doing, really. That man has horrible timing… he waits for me to get ultimate power before spouting off that I was going to die.”

Drake was very confused by that.

“You almost killed everyone!”

“Well, so did you.” Kuja shrugged, “And your “kill all the humans” meltdown was much more recent, so shouldn’t we be questioning you?”

Drake gave up with being confused anymore. It didn’t help the situation and it was so much easier to just try and accept it all.

“That was different! I thought I’d lost everybody!”

“And I thought I was losing everything that mattered.”

“You ego-maniac!”

Sometimes… Drake thought to himself, I miss being home…

Kuja’s trance lasted a great while, so long as he neglected to use spells.

“I don’t get it. Why?” Zidane asked. “Ours faded so quickly.”

“Yes, but they don’t have to. And no, before you ask, age has little to do with it. It’s all about the amount of energy that you obtain while Trancing. In my case, my original Trance was artificial and required quite a few souls to obtain. It lasted as long as the energy from those souls was active. My current one, however, won’t be that way as it is not feeding off other’s power, just my own. The more power you have, the longer your trance lasts.”

“And you think my new… form... thing… is just an advanced Trance?”

Kuja nodded. “This experiment proved it, really. You don’t glow the same way your old Trance forced, and your skin remains a natural color, albeit somewhat with a noticeable glow…”

“So we’ll have to build up this Trance? I can’t just… summon it?”

“No. It’ll get to a point where you can access it quicker, but the whole Trance thing, I was right to believe, is Self Preservation.”

“I don’t know… The first time I Tranced was to protect Garnet. Never before then, and I’ve been in trouble plenty of times.”

“Ah, that is the other aspect. None of you ever had Tranced before then. I believe that the catalyst to your Trance powers awakening was that another soul capable of Trance was around. They are few and far between and of varying ages… it really is destiny that has enough of you in the same area at the right time. It is my belief that at least 3 people with Trance abilities must be in the same area and the same battle before the connection will start. After that, it can be solo, but to awaken it had to be three. Now, I admit the urge to assist may help with Trance, but the quickest way to obtain it is self preservation.”

“All of us World Heroes can Trance… Kinda freaky to imagine that this all worked out so perfect, but there are plenty of battles we wouldn’t have won without Trance. I don’t think we could have done it without the ability.” Zidane noted, “We’d have been done for.”

Kuja nodded in agreement. Zidane choose to ignore the smug look.

“So…” Zidane looked at Drake. “Before we can even practice our new forms, we have to fight?”

“Yes, I imagine so.” Kuja stated, “And we have to work around the “your comrade cannot make you trance in battle” rule.”

“… So… we cannot be fighting him and attack each other enough to Trance?”

Kuja shook his head. “No, I imagine you’ll have to start out in a solo battle against each other. If he even joins in it might affect the morals of Trance.”

“... Well, for us both to Trance, that’ll take a wh—… Drake, when did you Trance!?”

Drake, who was now in his new TF, stared at the Terran thief. “… I don’t Trance.” His voice gave away that he was more than a little annoyed with having to remind Zidane of this fact.

“… Oh yeah…” Zidane shrunk a bit as he realized his error. “I’m just not…”

“Used to it. Mmhm.” Drake’s tone changed to a bored one, as if he just couldn’t be bothered with any of this.

“Oh, it has to be forgiven.” Kuja butted in, “Of course you won’t remember. After all, I was the product of sedulous and devotion. An original work of art if ever there was one, with a glabrous face and a voice that is dulcet! And you were made when he walked into the lab overly bored one day and said “I’ll pick one of the babies to give life to”… a mistake, if I were asked. Picking such a pastiche…”

Zidane glared at him.

“… As much as I appreciate this… leitmotif…” Drake rolled his eyes, “We don’t really have time for it.”

“You’re right…”

Drake began shifting out of his TF when Zidane stopped him. “Hey, wait, no stay in that form!”

“… I can’t.”

“Why?”

“Because I’ll kill you.” Drake stated, looking at Zidane with an expression stating he thought that fact should be clear.

“Oh…” Zidane thought about that. “Yeah, but you use up a lot of energy when you drop and regain that form, don’t you?”

“Some.”

“There are Monsters near here that I need to clear anyway, I’ll go fight them till I trance.” Zidane decided, “It shouldn’t take too long.”

“Fine…”

Zidane started off toward the outskirts of town, but quickly turned back. “I’ll be back soon! Don’t fight!”

“Whatever you wish, Brother!” Kuja called.

Zidane really debated just… staying, but he needed to Trance. His head and heart were heavy with regret and dread as he ran to find the monsters.

“So, then. For this epic battle, where do you plan on holding it?” Kuja asked, turning to Drake.

“I don’t know… Cannot be anywhere near people… and preferably not Monsters, either.”

“Why? Don’t want them getting in harm’s way?”

“Partially, but I also worry about Eclipse’s ability to change forms.”

“I heard something about that, but still don’t understand it. His protean abilities are that powerful?”

Drake nodded. “Yes, which is why I’m unsure about any place out-doors.”

“Because he can readily assuming different shapes or forms? Or because he is displays considerable variety or diversity?”

“Primarily, I fear that if we’re outside he might be able to slink off somewhere. It needs to be inside and we need to come up with a way to seal it… Like, use a cave and then plug the exit.”

“Then how will you get out?” Kuja raised an eyebrow.

Drake shook his head. “Not sure…”

“So… Somewhere indoors, which he will go to, and can be trapped in.”

“I believe it is the only way. It will also stop him from creating storms. I know he can also control dragons, but I worry he may be able to do the same with other Monsters and that is the last thing we need.”

“And if he does summon Dragons?” Kuja wondered.

“I can handle that. They’ll just be distractions and I can get rid of them quickly enough, it is not something worth worrying about.”

“Hm.” Kuja thought on that for a while… contemplating. “So… This all needs to be a surprise?”

Drake nodded. There would be no other way, he was sure of that. “If it is not, he’ll win before we have a chance to strike.”

“He is that powerful?”

Drake didn’t reply. There wasn’t anything he could say that wouldn’t lead to more questions. All the things he had seen Eclipse do, all that had happened… as far as Drake could tell Eclipse was the strongest Occultation… but unless you knew of that species power, saying so didn’t give the full benefit… and he would have to explain how he knew…

“Well, then… It will be vital to see what your new forms can do, hm?” Kuja changed the subject.

Drake nodded.

“One thing, though.” Kuja began, “Can you still take your original form? Zidane said you told him of another form you had before opening the Secrets of Terra.”

“Hm… I haven’t tried, really. It just defaults to this form. Why?”

“An idea. If you took your original form after Zidane Trances, it will cost you less power and you might get a few hits in. Save the new powers for later, sort of like a second wave.”

Drake’s eyes moves quickly back and forth, as he thought about that. “Yes… that might work… if I take this form before he should know what is going on, it’ll give it away.”

“Ah, so he knows of your second form?” Kuja caught on.

Drake glared, not happy at being tricked into giving that information away and deciding to play it off as if that knowledge should have been evident. “Yes, of course.”

Kuja snickered. “Just asking, just asking!”

“Hmph.”

“How quickly will he change forms?”

“He’ll wait… depending on what we do, though.”

“I suggest you act.” Kuja instructed, “You have been for this long, why not keep it up?”

“Stage a fight… that could work.”

“Yes indeed!” Kuja grinned. “Fight, get Zidane to Trance, and convince the louche man that his plan is still what’s happening.”

Drake nodded. “That has the best chance of working… that I can see.”

“Yes, and I imagine it would not be very safe for you if he found out anything had changed—.”

“Don’t waste your time worrying about me.” Drake interrupted, “I can handle it.”

“Hehehe… I would have thought someone of your class would know better than to interrupt. It’s very rude.”

“Some things need to be corrected quickly.” Drake replied, “And some things just shouldn’t be said. Besides, class has little to do with it. Zidane’s been declared a prince and he is the definition of gauche.”

“Oh yes. How dare anyone assume the Dark Prince might need aid.” Kuja taunted, “A real tragedy!”

“I’ve lived with him this long; it is an insult to assume I don’t know how to behave.”

“Ah, but you don’t.” Kuja reminded, “If you knew how to behave you would never even consider going against him.”

“I know how to—.”

“Act.” This time, it was Kuja who interrupted. “You know how to play the part, speak the lines and make the proper expressions, but you don’t know how to behave. A dog who behaves doesn’t sneak behind its owners back to steal the family’s roast. A child who knows how to behave doesn’t lie to its guardians. Your problem is you don’t know how to behave because the only way to goes against everything in you.”

Drake stared. “… You sure do think you’re smart, for someone whose sartorial style dwells so far in that of the opposite gender.”

“Well that’s my inability to behave. I embrace the ineffable and the bravura.” Kuja grinned, “And those who can’t accept that will be distracted enough to give me the advantage.”

“Mh.”

Finally Zidane returned and in his new Trance. “I love this, so much.”

“Good for you! Now! I think the best course of action is to fight.” Kuja said, “I’ll use my Trance to help out if the battle changes in favor of either side.”

“Eh… I don’t know. I feel really powerful. I’m not sure if a fight is safe.”

Kuja laughed. “Dear Brother… you have to fight. You have to practice, and you have to figure out any new attacks you have. As I mentioned, I’ll stay in Trance form incase this ends up too one-sided and you find yourself unable to control the power levels.”

“Well…”

“I don’t have a problem with it.” Drake stated, “I don’t think you’re that strong.”

“I… think I am—.” Zidane was interrupted as he was thrown back 50 feet from a sudden, forceful blast to his chest. He’d seen Drake move forward… but it had been just a blur of speed and then… pain, then he was moving, and then more pain as he hit a tree. “… Ow.”

“I don’t.” Drake informed, smirking.
