Faith Destiny Diyer

Appearance:
Gender: Female
Race: Witch
Hair color: Medium brown. When she gets to be a teenager she adds blonde highlights
Hair Style: Faith’s always had her hair long! It’s not curly, but it is full of volume and body and a slight wave.
Eyes: Hazel.
Eyelash color: Naturally her eyelashes are very dark brown, but as a teenager she colors them in a variety of colors.
Height: Average to slightly above average her whole life. She hit her growth spurt when she was about fourteen, just like a lot of girls, but she was never considered tall or short.
Build: As a child, Faith was very healthy and exercised a lot! She has always understood the necessity to be healthy and was blessed with her mother’s beauty and figure as she got older.
Skin tone: Like her brother, Faith is tan and Italian.
Age: Throughout the story she ages from zero to seventeen.
Face: A mix, not quite oval and not quite round. Like her brother she has an almost diamond shape to her face, but hers is softer than his.
Marks: When faith turns fifteen she gets a special Henna tattoo from another witch of a heart on the back of her right shoulder. She’s not at an age to get a tattoo, so she got the Henna and enchanted it to stay. When she is sad it turns blue, the deeper the shade the sadder she is. When she is happy it is purple, when she is sassy it is red… much like a mood ring except when she’s thinking about her brother and it reverts back to the color it originated in. Green and gold like her brother’s eyes. Everyone who sees it and cannot detent the enchantment just assumes she gets different colors of henna ink done.
Weapons: Faith has no weapons. Her ‘tools of the trade’ however, would be a microphone or dancing shoes as Faith grows up to be a popstar. She sings, she dances, she loves to hear the crowd cheer.
Clothing Specifics:
Faith has always loved the color purple. She is a healer; that is her strongest and easiest to summon power and her healing ability usually glows purple. As a child, she would never be one of those kids in the revealing clothes or in the teenager styles (until she is a teenager). She would never be seen wearing anything with writing on it that was sexy, bratty, or rude. No “Brunets do it better” or “slut” or anything else. “Dancer” or “Popstar” or even just “star in training” would work fine. When she is a teenager the writing might get edgier but not often. A “Get Lost” or “Your Boyfriend Thinks I’m Prettier” would probably be the most and only then if she’s in a bad mood.
Faith's style varies from gothic Lolita to pop star; she likes a variety, but, as a child, her style often had a slight gothic feel to match her brother's.
Personality:
Faith grew up happy. She never knew her parents but it doesn’t bother her She had her brother.
Abdalla (or ‘Aba’ as she calls him) is her brother and guardian angel. She feels like the luckiest girl in the world because he’s her brother. He took her in, takes care of her and loves her above all. Because of some things her classmates tell her, Faith at one time becomes worried Abdalla would or secretly already did resent her… she was born the day their parents died and, from what members of their parent’s old coven told her, she was the child they longed for… but he didn’t.
Abdalla loved her despite any negative there might be. Every year, for every holiday (wiccan holiday), for every birthday she had and for mother’s day and father’s day and their parent’s birthdays… he’d take her to visit their parent’s graves. At first, Faith loved that. It made her have a connection and feel more like they both had more than just each other; made her feel more like she’d been a part of a family!
However, as she learns more about what her parents did to her brother… she grows to not want anything to do with them and grows closer to her brother.
Faith is a kind person, most of the time. She tries to get along with everyone and, like her brother, is often the one defending the people being picked on… however, if anyone uses her brother or treats him in any way she doesn’t like, Faith gets aggressive. She cherishes her brother and even though there is a thirteen year age difference separating them, they do try to protect each other.
She does have a tough time, though. Faith’s main power revolves around her healing abilities… yet she has a brother she cannot help. He gets ill constantly and hurt bad, but her healing powers only wound him. Two opposing elements; poison and healing.
They both also have to live with one fact… Abdalla won’t live for long. As Faith gets older, she does her best to separate herself from Abdalla, and her brother lets her. She doesn’t want to hurt her brother and that is why they try to go their separate ways. Abdalla does not want Faith to be alone and Faith does not want him to worry about her. He wants her to have a family. He wants her safe and happy… Faith wants to stop any of his pain that she can.
When Faith is younger Abdalla is always there for her. He takes her trick-or-treating and drives her to her dance lessons and to Mc.Donald’s and ice cream parlors. He is her whole world, which is why Faith has a rule… she’ll never say “don’t leave me” because she knows no matter what he or she does one day her brother will die. The last thing she wants on his mind is that everything it taken care of, not “but she begged me not to leave her”.
Favorite color: Purple
Favorite food: Mc. Donald’s cheeseburger happymeal
Favorite subject: Dance
Second favorite subject: Chorus
Other:Faith is around age seven when her brother finally does die. She always said she wouldn’t cry, that she’d be strong for him and just be glad his pain was finally over… but she cries when she learns he’s gone. She grows up to become a very talented and very famous singer, songwriter and actress. By the time she is sixteen she’s known around the world for her talents. She visits her brother’s grave fairly often and meets the next Alchemist after her brother… It happens on a day when she really misses her brother and is mad at the world for taking him, but in this meeting she learns the curse the alchemists face is over. Though they still have to live somewhat alone, though they still only appear one at a time, the fear of their life being taken is over. Faith lives with the knowledge that her brother’s death would be the last the demon would take. He fought back even as he died and he saved all those that would follow him.
